Jan-Flemming (born 1965) lives and works in Copenhagen.

His works have been exhibited in both Denmark, Spain, Austria and the United States.

Jan-Flemming’s works are a clear reflection of his own approach to creating visual art.

For him it must be an intuitive and inquisitive process; it must necessarily emerge from an intrinsic

desire to create. Owing to this, he considers the process of creating as well as observing

art a free space unburdened by restraints and inhibiting pressures.

Each piece, which emerges from this intuitive process of combining and experimenting,

leaves a certain impression. The dynamic interaction between the abstract shapes and

the distinctive range of colors, explored by the artist, has resulted in an assortment

of highly unique and atmospheric pieces.
